                                                  Something People Might Regret
Alcohol is an important thing for parties. People drink alcohol when they are happy or sad. When they are happy, they drink alcohol as celebration. When they are sad, they drink alcohol as relaxation. However, so many people around the world die every year because of liver cancer and car accidents. The main reason for these terrible things is alcohol. Drinking alcohol causes many problems such as diseases, crimes, and accidents.
In the first place, people love the feeling gave by alcohol. They feel like they are flying. However, drinking alcohol causes many diseases, such as eyes problem and liver cancer. As people know, the liver is an important organ in human bodies. It helps clean and take out poison inside their bodies as a filter. When people drink a lot of alcohol and for a long time, their livers might get into trouble. Sadly, they can get liver cancer. For example, if people drink too much alcohol for about ten years, their livers can get some problems but it is not dangerous yet. On the other hand, if they keep drinking alcohol, their livers problems will increase and may lead them cancer. In addition, excessive drinking can cause eye problems. The eyes movement of the people who had excessive drinking is slower than the others (nystagmus). The weakness and paralysis or their eyes happen because lack of vitamin B-1 (www.mayoclicnic.org).
Next, alcohol can lead people into crimes. The highest rate of criminal problem from drinking alcohol is domestic violence. When people are drunk, they cannot control their brains. As a result, they can easily get angry or annoyed. It may lead people into fighting with their partners or others. Moreover, if people go to somewhere for parties or banquets and then driving back home, it is really dangerous because they are maybe drunk driving. Furthermore, if people get caught by police officers because of drunk driving they will have big problems such as DUI and DWI.  The police officers can take their car away and can put those drivers into prison because drunk driving is dangerous for other peoples. Moreover, if people have a DUI or DWI problem, they will hard to find a good job. It also called felony criminal record.
Nearly 13000 people are killed each year because of drunk driving. Drunk driving is a major cause of car accidents and motorcycle accidents. Alcohol-related crashes cost American taxpayers over $100 billion. People cannot control their brain when they are drunk, they also cannot pay attention on the road, and their react with danger is slower than normal. It also makes people fall asleep while they are driving. Therefore, when people are drunk, driving becomes dangerous and it is probably lethal. They risk their lives and also they risk other people lives with drunk driving. When they are drunk, their muscle coordination is poor, such as speech, hearing, and reaction. It’s harder to detect danger and judgment. Their memories are impaired, resulting in reduced concentration, such as loss of speed control and impaired perception (www.ncadd.org).
To conclude, people should be aware of the dangers in alcohol. It is a main reason people get into trouble. Drinking alcohol excessively may cause liver cancer and eyes problems. People get angry or annoying easily when they are drunk; they cannot control themselves, so they can do something that leads them to criminal problems. Even worse, drunk driving is a terrible thing because people can get killed by car accidents or go to the jail if they get caught by police officers.  At last, people better avoid something instead of regret it late. If people want to quit their drinking habits, Alcoholics Anonymous group, which is called AA group, can help them. They have twelve steps to help people stop drinking alcohol.
